1. Due to firewall restrictions, particularly on off-campus and wireless connections, you will need to connect to the your campus VPN service before installing and to use this software.
2. You will need to download three files to install IMAGINE all software available in this offer. They are:

Please use Winzip to unzip these files. In our example we are extracting the files to the desktop of the computer.

3.Install the Foundation software first. Open the ERDAS-Foundation folder and double click setup.exe.

4. Expand the + next to Supporting Software and click on ERDAS Foundation 2015 and click on Install.
   
5. You will see an installer window.Click on Install.
   
6. The installation process will begin.
   
7. You will quckly see see a configuration window.Then an installer window. Click on Next
   
8. Accept the license agreement and click on Next.
   
9. Click on Next.

13. From the Start Menu open Intergraph License Administration. Under the Server menu select License Host ID.

33. You are now ready to use ERDAS Imagine. Remember: Due to firewall restrictions, you will need to use your campus VPN service to use this software if you are on an off-campus connection.
    

To update the local license file for ERDAS IMAGINE:

1. From the Start menu, select All Programs, thenERDAS 2010 or ERDAS, then ERDAS-Net Licensing2010 or ERDAS-Net Licensing, and then LicenseAdministration.

   Note: If you are not sure when your ERDAS licenseexpires, select the License Sources folder, and thenexpand the local folder. Highlight a feature and look for theexpiration date under the Properties tab.

2. In the ERDAS-Net License Admin Tool window, from theFile menu, click Load License File.
3. Click Browse, select the license file(.elf), and then click OK. If you do not have alicense file, email UITS GIS.
4. You can test the license service by expanding the folder contents,and then selecting a feature such as Imagine Advantage. Thenumber of licenses available will be at least 1, depending on thenumber of licenses you purchased from UITS.
